Big 12 offers roll in for Washington

The 2014 class may have had the spotlight on Wednesday, but the 2015 class was also on the mind of college coaches. For New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr three-star 2015 defensive end Isaiah Washington that means he picked up two Big 12 offers.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pound defender entered the week with offers from Tennessee, Louisiana Tech, Tulane, and Kansas State. On Wednesday he picked up the first of two Big 12 offers, with Oklahoma State doing the honors.

"Oklahoma State, I'm really liking it," Washington said. "They have been with me for a little minute. They've been with me for a little while. I really like the offer. I'm going to go up there and see the facilities and we'll take it from there. I don't think I'm going to commit yet, but they're in my top three."
Thursday, he received the second Big 12 offer of the week as the TCU Horned Frogs stepped forward.
"TCU, one of my biggest motivations was to get them," Washington said. "Because last year around this same exact time they came and talked to Speedy (Noil) and I made up my mind that they would talk to me next year. It was last year around this time and they just came and offered me. I've been looking at them. I like what they have to offer."
Who will be the next school to offer? Washington does not know, but he does know plenty are showing interest. Now, he is getting ready to hit the junior day circuit. Where will he go?
I don't know yet. I can't really tell you where I'm going because I haven't really set everything fully," Washington said. "I'm going to a lot of them. I'm going to anybody's junior day. It's not about how big your program is, it's about what you have to offer for me and how I'm going to fit in there."
Washington is not in a hurry to rush into a decision, but he does admit LSU is at the top of his list. He is currently ranked No. 18 in the 2014 Louisiana Preseason Top 35.
