Big 12 offer arrives for Rivals250 OL

Four-star offensive guard O.C. Brown was a little bit late to the recruiting scene. Playing at a small high school in Memphis, Brown's athletic prowess went unnoticed by college recruiters for much of his high school career but he is unnoticed no longer. Brown recently picked up his third official offer with more likely to be coming his way.
Along with offers from Southern Mississippi and Kentucky, Brown has now added Colorado to his list of options.

"Coach just told me when I was in my last period class," Brown said. "He told me that Colorado offered. I've never talked to them. I haven't had a phone conversation with any coaches or anything like that."
Brown is still learning about the new offer but has stated that he is open to any school.
"I don't know much about it," he said of Colorado. "It really doesn't matter. I'll pick the school that I think is the most interested in me so I can get my education."
Recently, Brown visited Mississippi State's campus and enjoyed his time in Starkville. He also has been receiving interest from the third Magnolia State program.
"It went fine," he said. "I like Mississippi State. They're ok. I've been talking to the Ole Miss coaches and they seem like they're pretty interested."
This offseason, Brown was one of the top performers on the offensive line at the U.S. Army Combine and will be attending his second combine this weekend at an event put on by TNVarsity.com. Other than that, he plans to take in a couple of more schools while he has the chance.
"A lot of schools have been wanting me to come to their spring games or camps," he said. "I haven't really decided which ones to go to but I'll make my decision soon."
While several schools are after Brown, there are four in particular that he is hoping will offer in the near future.
"I would like to get an offer from LSU, Tennessee, Alabama and Ole Miss," he said. "Those are the schools that really stand out to me."
