Big 10 or Big East for Florida WR

Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central wide receiver Alric Arnett has flown under the radar so far during the recruiting process. However, he has quietly accumulated a nice list of offers and it appears as though a Big Ten school could be close to landing his commitment.
"I have offers from Illinois, Florida Atlantic, Louisiana-Lafayette and Florida International," Arnett said. "My favorite right now is Illinois, but Pittsburgh is also recruiting me really hard. If they offer I might would commit to them."

The 6-foot-1, 155-pound Arnett attended the NIKE camp in Miami where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.72 seconds, had a 4.44 second shuttle and 26-inch vertical jump.
"I have an official visit set up to go to Illinois on January 28," Arnett said. "It's basically down to them and Pittsburgh. If Pitt doesn't offer by then, then there is a good chance I will commit to Illinois on my visit."
"I was supposed to visit Florida Atlantic and Florida International the past two weekends but I had an all-star game and didn't go. Both of those schools are pretty close by so I will probably just end up taking a mid-week visit to both of them."
Arnett also runs track where he made first team all-county. He projects as a full qualifier with a 2.25 GPA and a 17 ACT.
