Bibbs pulls back on commitment

Houston (Texas) Jersey Village running back Anthony Bibbs admits he's close to a decision, but at the same time, not ready to pull the trigger just yet.
Bibbs, a 5-foot-9, 180-pound running back from Houston, says that he came to close to making a commitment to Oklahoma State last week. After talking things over with his parents, he's decided to put things off for a little while.

"I ended up deciding it would be best to take my time," Bibbs said. "I was really thinking that last week, I was going to be done and commit. But, my mom told me to wait and just enjoy the moment."
Bibbs says that even though he didn't give OSU his decision, he's very high on the Cowboys.
"I just like their tradition and all the great players that have gone there," he said. "Barry Sanders is my favorite running back. I would really like to go up there and meet him some day. It's really just OSU at the top right now."
Bibbs says that he's also fielded offers from the likes of Oklahoma State and Kansas State. His next visit, to no one's surprise, will be to Oklahoma State this week or next.
"I think I'm going to OSU this week to check things out," he said. "I just want to go up there, see the campus, and just see how everything is up there. That's the only one I have planned right now."
