Des Moines (Iowa) Lincoln star Jordan Bernstine has no shortage of scholarship offers on the table.
"Right now I'm basically looking at schools that have offered," he said. "I have 11 offers. I had 10, then I got one from Colorado on (Wednesday).
"I have offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas A&M, UCLA, Indiana, Pitt and Colorado."
However Bernstine laughed when asked if he is close to making a decision.
"I don't have a list or anything like that yet," he said. "I'll start doing that after school gets out. I plan to visit some schools this summer. I'll go to Notre Dame June 3 for camp. I'll go to two other camps too, but I'm not sure which ones."
Bernstine said he has spoken on the phone with coaches from all 11 schools that have offered a scholarship.
"Ohio State, Tennessee, Notre Dame and USC have also called."
The 5-foot-11 and 195-pound Bernstine made 125 tackles and intercepted six passes from his safety spot during his junior season. Bernstine also played running back, wide receiver, and returned punts and kickoffs.
