Berniard visits in-state school
Three-star offensive tackle Geoff Berniard of Lafayette (La.) St. Thomas Moore took one of his five official visits this weekend to in-state Tulane. Despite having scholarship offers from Florida State, South Carolina and Tennessee, the Green Wave made a great impression on him this weekend.
“I had some long talks with everybody on the team,” Berniard, who is 6-foot-8 and 320 pounds, said. “We talked about what my future has in store for me. I told them about Florida State and how I really like them, but they told me that they feel like Tulane would also be a very good fit for me, too.

“I saw a lot of positives there. They are a program that’s always going to be winning a consistent amount of games every year. That’s a good thing to know.”
Berniard is set to Florida State on January 23 and South Carolina on January 16. He also wants to visit Tennessee but the Vols want him to come in the same weekend that the Noles do.
