PALO ALTO, Calif. - Chandler, Ariz., safety/cornerback prospect Harold Bernard was one of several top Arizona prospects in attendance at this past weekend's Palo Alto NIKE camp.
The 6-foot-1, 170 pound Bernard currently holds one offer from Arizona State and he continues to hear from Stanford, BYU, Colorado, Nebraska, Utah, Georgia Tech and Arizona State.
"A lot of us represented from Arizona at this camp," Bernard said. "A lot of us are just trying to do it big and make a name for ourselves."
Bernard said it doesn't matter to him if he plays corner or safety at the next level, the biggest thing is just finding the right fit.
This summer, Bernard is scheduled to attend Arizona State's camp in June and he'd also like to visit Stanford unofficially in the near future.
Bernard wasn't able to visit Stanford the day after the Palo Alto NIKE camp because he didn't have a chaperone that could make the visit with him.
"This was my first NIKE camp," Bernard said. "It was exciting getting all this exposure. I'm hoping this will get my name out there. I hope I did enough to do that."
Bernard said he currently remains wide open right now, but he'd like to hear more from Stanford and Cal.
"Everybody is pretty much even right now," Bernard said. "I'm hoping to hear from Stanford more. I'd also like to hear from Cal more. I just like football, so whoever can offer me a good opportunity, I'm interested in them."
