"I am planning to visit them and try to talk more to the coaches in the near future," Bennett said.
Bennett has not scheduled any of his spring visits yet. He did recently attend junior days at Central Michigan and Toledo.
"Central Michigan was a real nice experience," Bennett said. "I met the new recruiter who recruits the Detroit area and I talked with the linebackers coach and the head coach. It was a really fun day for me to see the campus.
"I went to Toledo's camp last summer, but the junior day was my first time walking around. I met most of the coaches, so it was a real good experience."
Bennett is coming off a junior season in which he played both linebacker and wide receiver, registerting three interceptions on defense and three touchdowns on offense.
