Bemenderfer looks for fourth offer

Mishawaka (Ind.) Penn two-way lineman Thomas Bemenderfer may have a pretty good list of college choices before too long. He may also have the option of playing either offense or defense at the next level.
"Different schools are recruiting me for different positions," Bemenderfer said. "Some say offensive guard or tackle, some say defensive tackle. Purdue, Michigan, and Illinois say offense. Miami of Ohio says defense as well as Indiana. Ball State says offense."

"I'm receiving information from Wisconsin. So I sent them a tape. They wrote back saying they want to stay in touch."
"I went to quite a few camps. I went to Purdue, Indiana, Michigan, Miami, Vanderbilt, Duke, and I finished off the summer with Northwestern."
"So far I've been offered scholarships by Ball State, Illinois, and Miami of Ohio."
"Right now I'm still looking at all of the schools. I would like to have a narrower view by October and I'd like to commit by the end of the football season."
"Every school has different things I like about it. It's really hard to say who I like best. It's really hard to tell right now."
The 6-foot-4 and 252 pound Bemenderfer had close to a dozen sacks from his defensive tackle spot during his junior season. He also saw quite a bit of playing time at offensive guard. Bemenderfer was an all-conference and junior all-state selection.
