Belvin new name to know
Talk about a good week. Heading into last week, Arlington (Texas) Bowie two-star receiver Brandon Belvin had one lone offer from Tennessee State. He ended the week with four Division I offers.
“They sent out my highlight tape from the school, and I guess it paid off,” Belvin, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound all-district selection, said. “I got offers from Utah, Syracuse, Arizona and Purdue all last week in the mail. It was kind of cool.”

What’s also cool is his impressive official visit schedule.
Belvin is set to visit Utah on January 9, Arizona on January 16, Syracuse on January 23 and Purdue on January 30. He doesn’t claim a leader but is excited most by the new coaches at Arizona.
“I think they’re going to do a good job,” Belvin said. “That doesn’t mean I’m leaning that way or anything, but I’m excited about the Stoops brothers.”
