Beltre waiting for more offers

It's been well over a month sine we last heard from Randolph, N.J. defensive end Frank Beltre. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder holds two offers, but believes plenty of other schools are possibly close to offering.
"I've got offers from Duke and Towson," he stated. "I only went to one camp this summer to Duke.

"I may still go to Towson and Maryland before the summer is over in the next couple weeks."
Maryland is one of a handful of schools waiting on possibly offering the two-star prospect.
"They along with Northwestern, Michigan, Boston College, Connecticut and a few other schools want to see my first three games since I couldn't make it to camp. They all like me physically, but don't want to make a decision until they get that film."
Do any schools whether they offered or not stand out to Beltre?
"Northwestern does right now," he said. "They have shown a lot of interest and it's always the same.
"I also like Duke. They are a great school and if I have to make a choice they would be it. All I'm looking for is a place to play and they want to let me play."
Currently Beltre hasn't scheduled any officials, but claims he plans to once he hears back from the schools.
In the meantime, the Garden State prospect is keeping busy with football.
"Practice is amazing," he said. "We're working harder than we did last year and the coaches are pushing us more. I've definitely seen an improvement too. I'm stronger and faster."
