Just days after trimming Cincinnati from his list Bill Belton has made his college decision.
The 5-foot-9, 191-pound athlete from Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township had narrowed his options down to Penn State and West Virginia.
"I committed to Penn State," Belton said on Monday evening.
"Penn State's a great school. It was my dream school coming up. Growing up I watched Penn State football. I was very big on them early in the process. Coach (Mike) McQueary was also a big factor in my decision."
Belton attended Penn State's spring game during his sophomore year of high school and feels like he knows enough about the school to confidently make his choice.
He is Penn State's No. 14 commitment from the Class of 2011.
Belton is ranked the No. 25 athlete in the nation and the No. 247 overall prospect on the Rivals250.
He had originally committed to Pitt but decommitted from the Panthers in the midst of the turmoil surrounding their head coaching position.
