Belton down to two

Athlete Bill Belton had narrowed his list of schools down to Cincinnati, Penn State and West Virginia, and now he has cut that list down yet again.
The 5-foot-9, 191-pound athlete from Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township is just looking at two schools.

"It's between Penn State and West Virginia," Belton said, indicating that Cincinnati is no longer a contender. "I cut one school because it's getting close to Signing Day and I'm starting to get a good feel for these schools. Who knows? I might make a move before Signing Day."
Belton said he would like to visit both schools before he makes his decision but he hasn't chosen any dates for trips yet.
Why are the Nittany Lions and Mountaineers so high on his list?
"Penn State, that's a great school," Belton said. "They have a great tradition and a great football program. They play in a big conference. If you have a great season you're contending for a national championship or playing in that Rose Bowl game.
"West Virginia has that new staff in there and they're going to throw the ball around a lot. I think it would be a great fit. I could see myself at both these places."
Both Penn State and West Virginia are recruiting Belton as a wide receiver.
