Belleus becomes a Hawkeye
Dodge City (Kan.) Community College four-star junior college corner Walner Belleus said he was hoping to have a decision by this weekend, and it looks like he kept his word.
“I committed to Iowa on Saturday,” said Belleus, who is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound stick-like glue cover corner. “In the end, I felt like I could come in and make the biggest impact at Iowa. I can come in and play right away and compete for a starting spot.”

Belleus picked the Hawkeyes over Arizona State, Illinois and South Florida.
“You can’t beat the Big 10 when it comes to the best conference in the nation,” he said.
