Bellamy talks with Swinney

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Punta Gorda (Fla.) Charlotte five-star running back Mike Bellamy was unsure about his Clemson commitment following Sunday's practice at the Under Armour All-America Game, due to the dismissal of a pair of offensive coaches at Clemson.
On Monday, he had a bit more clarity on the subject due to a conversation he had last evening.

"I talked to Coach (Dabo) Swinney last night and he was just telling me that he is doing what is best for the team," Bellamy said. "He said they are just trying to win."
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound back said he took Swinney's words to heart and talked about where his commitment to the Tigers stands.
"All I can do is respect that, so I am pretty much just sitting and waiting to see what happens," Bellamy said. "I am not going to look. I am still 100% for Clemson. Whatever happens, happens. If they bring in a coach I don't think will fit my need then I will decommit but other than that I am still 100% committed to them."
The Rivals100 prospect said that he didn't discuss possible additions to the Clemson staff with Swinney during his conversation last evening.
"I didn't really get into all that detail," Bellamy said. "I will just let him do his job and see what happens from there."
