Bellamy popular in April

The Spring Evaluation Period has put college coaches on the road, and one destination for a number of coaches has been Brebeuf Jesuit High in Indianapolis, home of three-star running back LeVante Bellamy.
"IU, Purdue, Miami (Ohio), Tennessee and Minnesota [stopped by]," Bellamy said. "They all broadcast their school to be the best school, but it's going to be my decision and all I can really do is get as much information about their school when they come."

Bellamy had planned to make at least a couple spring practice visits over the last few weeks, but was only able to see an in-state program.
"I went down to Purdue's spring practice expecting an offer, and that didn't happen," Bellamy said.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pound Bellamy does hold offers from Cincinnati, Akron, Toledo and Western Michigan. Beyond those programs, he feels Notre Dame, Tennessee, Miami (Ohio), Oregon, Mississippi State and Florida State are all showing strong interest.
"Cincinnati is more about 'when are you going to commit to our school?'" Bellamy said. "They're real confident that I'm going to go to their school, but we'll see what happens."
As a junior Bellamy rushed for over 2,000 yards and scored more than 30 touchdowns. He is ranked as the No. 18 all-purpose back in the 2015 class.
