Bell waiting for next step

Reynoldsburg (Ohio) Groveport Madison running back Leveon Bell earned offers from Marshall, Eastern Michigan, and Bowling Green earlier this season. Now, his is working toward turning in a big senior season and hopes toward earning more scholarship offers.
"Practice is going well, we are doing very well," Bell said. "We had our first scrimmage. It was a four-way. I did really well. I play running back and safety. It went really well running the football. I played well on defense too."

Bell does not plan making a decision anytime soon.
"I am going to wait to take official visits," Bell stated. "So far I have only gotten look at Bowling Green, I am going to take officials to Marshall and Eastern Michigan."
Bell said Cincinnati, Iowa, Michigan, and Central Michigan are recruiting him hard.
"Those are the schools I feel could offer me pretty soon. Of those schools, Cincinnati is recruiting me the hardest. Tim Hinton is my recruiting coach at Cincinnati, he is a real nice man, I like him a lot. He makes me feel comfortable around him. He is honest. They said they want to see my first two games this season. Then they will let me know after that. It is pretty much the same thing with Iowa and Michigan."
Bell said he has visited Michigan and Cincinnati unofficially, but has yet to see Iowa. He is looking to take an official visit there if possible. Bell's eyes are set on landing a major scholarship offer.
"It is going to take hard work and dedication. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get those bigger offers. I feel I can play at a higher level."
Groveport Madison opens its 2009 season at Worthington Kilbourne on August 28th.
