Chavez athlete Justin Bell is emerging as the school's most recruited prospect.
Tight end Harold Turnage has offers and is receiving interest from mid-majors, but Bell is awaiting an offer from a potential BCS school.

"Boise State is closing in and if they offer, I'm going to commit to them," he said. "They have a great program and an offense that I can fit into. They are ranked in the Top 20 and if they win out could be a BCS team."
Bell is leading the Lobos to a potential playoff appearance for first-year coach Mike Jackson. At 3-1 in district, Bell is being used as both running back and receiver in Jackson's spread attack.
On the recruiting front, he has offers from Houston, Utah State, Central Florida and Texas State.
