Bell rings for Ala. DL

Christian Bell continues to impress in the camp setting and schools have started to notice the pass rushing specialist from the Yellowhammer State.
When asked who noticed first? Bell says that is up for debate.

"I don't really know," laughed Bell. "South Carolina offered me. And then I told my defensive coordinator. He told me to call coach [Geoff] Collins at Mississippi State. I called him and he said we offered you first, but we didn't tell you. So I don't really know right now."
Bell went to Starkville for the Bulldogs spring game and was impressed with his trip. He said, "It was real good. The coaches showed a lot of love and it was a nice campus."
TCU is scheduled to get a summer visit and Bell knows what to expect after stopping by the Big 12 School a year ago. Oklahoma has reached out as well according to Bell.
The 6-foot-3, 212-pounder grew up an Auburn fan. When asked if the Tigers offered would he commit on the spot?
"I don't know. We will have to see if they offer," replied Bell. "I have not had any contact with their coaches."
Last fall, Bell says he finished with around 30-plus tackles and 10-for-loss to go with five sacks as Hoover (Ala.) captured a Class 6A state title.
He plans to commit during his senior season.
