Bell names two early leaders

Kanya Bell has not received any new offers but there is definitely big news in his recruitment - a top two and some major powerhouses showing new interest.
The 2015 athlete from Diamond Bar, Calif., said USC and UCLA are his two favorites and that he would prefer to stay close to home.

"I'd really like to stay out here," Bell said. "I'm not trying to go too far. SC and UCLA are looking good right now. They're my top two right now.
"At UCLA I like their tradition. I like wearing the adidas stuff, too. They showed interest very early in me when I was a freshman. SC is my dream school. I know a lot of people that go there and they tell me it's a good school. I like the coaches that I've talked to so far. I really like them."
So far, Bell has been offered by Arizona State, Boise State, Nebraska, Oregon State, UCLA, USC and Washington. He said the Sun Devils also stand out in his recruitment and could probably be considered third on his list.
USC and UCLA definitely stand out the most but things could get interesting because Texas A&M, Tennessee and Oregon are showing more interest.
Bell said Tennessee likes him at wide receiver and the other two want to bring him in as an athlete and see where he fits best. The 6-foot, 160-pound prospect said he wants to wait things out in his recruitment and not make an early decision.
Especially since new offers could be close.
"I'm waiting for that month to come when they can offer officially," Bell said.
