Bell is on the scene

Defensively, Anthony Bell has been playing a little bit of everything in high school. His Division I future is at the linebacker position, but playing a little bit of the defensive line has helped him learn the ropes. It's also put him in position for his first offer.
Bell, 6-foot-1, 218 pounds, had his first offer come in but not from where he expected. While he prepares for the NIKE Training Camp this weekend, Bell is expecting more offers to come his way between now and the end of spring.

"Indiana was the first one to offer me," Bell said. "My coach informed me that I may get one from Wisconsin and UNLV. I was also text messaging with the Colorado State coach and he said that they were close as well.
"I didn't expect this. It's pretty wild to be honest."
Though he'd like to stay close to home, Bell says he's not turning anyone away at this early stage of the process.
"I would like to stay in Texas, but that's not the deciding factor necessarily," he said. "It comes down to whichever school gives me the best scholarship. I'll take that one for sure."
Bell says after the NIKE Training Camp in College Station, he is not sure of any other trips.
"I'm going to start up spring ball and hopefully some more colleges will come watch me play," he said. "Maybe some more offers will come too."
Bell is also receiving interest from Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and UTEP among others.
