Bell delays UVA official, schedules a third

Safety Rico Bell was planning to take an official to Virginia this weekend, but because of the playoffs the 5-foot-10, 181-pounder has delayed his trip. When does the Charlotte (N.C.) Vance prospect plan to make it to Charlottesville?
"Instead I'm planning to take my visit to UVA the first week of December, on the 2nd," he said. "I still have a visit scheduled to Tennessee on January 14th and am planning a visit to Clemson the following week January 21st.

"I chose Clemson because I really like the environment there. Coach Hobby is a real down to earth person and a good guy."
The three-star prospect is looking seriously at North Carolina State for his fourth official, but has no idea who will get the last one.
Bell has had a solid season recording 92 tackles and six interceptions that resulted in a Shrine Bowl bid.
"I got the invitation about a week ago and I was really excited," he said. "It's great to play in that game because so many great players do. It's not just about being a great athletic, but also about having a good head on your shoulders and great character."
Bell and Vance are 9-3 on the year including a 20-0 victory over Riverside last week.
