Bell commits to Big East school

Alexandria (Va.) Mount Vernon tight end Justin Bell wanted to end the recruiting process this weekend if he felt comfortable on his latest trip. So did he?
"I committed to BC tonight," said the 6-foot-3, 250-pounder. "I really liked my visit up there, it surprised me. Originally I didn't think it would be warm enough or it was too far away for me, lots of different things. When I got up there, it was great. I really fell for the place."

Bell chose the Eagles over offers from Marshall and Pitt and interest from Virginia and Virginia Tech.
"I was hosted by Doug Goodwin and I got to hang with a bunch of other players," he said. "The academics are awesome up there and the place is really nice. It was a bit cold, but not that bad. I can get used to that easily. They also told me I could end up as tight end, which I prefer, if defense doesn't work out. I don't care, I'll play anywhere."
