Bell adds Big 10 offer

Hitchcock, Texas tight end Josh Bell continues to add scholarship offers from schools he is considering.
“Everything is going good,” the 6-foot-7, 250-pound Bell said. “Wisconsin offered me a scholarship just last week. I'm interested in learning more about them. That’s the last thing really from recruiting that has happened. I have been getting phone calls from coaches, but nothing really new.”

Bell had hoped to take one of his official visits this coming weekend.
“I was going to set one up for this weekend since we have an off-week,” the three-star rated Bell said. “I just don’t think I’ll have time to get one done in time, though. I’m probably going to have to wait until after the season is over, now. I’ll get them set up for November and December.”
Bell knows six schools he would like to visit.
“I want to visit Oklahoma, Syracuse, Missouri, Miami, Kansas State and UCLA,” he said. “But, I’m only allowed five, so I’ll have to pick one of them to cut from that list.”
On the season, Hitchock has a 2-3 record.
“We’re playing good, we just aren’t winning some of them. I’m playing both tight end and defensive end. I have one sack on defense, and I don’t know anything from my offensive stats.. I don’t have a real preference of which way I play in college. I’ve got some recruiting me for offense and some for defense. It doesn’t matter at all to me.”
