Beljour likes local schools

Hackensack, N.J. running back/linebacker Jean Beljour is the kind of player that just plays. He's a pure athlete, so it won’t matter if he's a running back, fullback, outside linebacker or safety -- he's simply a football player.
College recruiters must feel the same way because he has offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, Connecticut, Indiana, Wisconsin and Oklahoma State. So Does Jean have a leader?

"I would say that Rutgers, Syracuse and Connecticut are all up there."
Beljour visited both Rutgers and UConn and is taking a trip to Syracuse this weekend. While he likes each of them, a decision might take a while longer.
"I also went out to Western Michigan because I really like the recruiting coach so I thought I would give them a chance and I did really like it, but I think it's just to far away."
So will he take a fifth visit?
"I might if the right school comes along with an offer."
What schools are you thinking about?
"Boston College is one. I've liked them for a while now and I like coach (Bill) McGovern a lot. I think I would take that visit if they offered it to me."
So what about some of your other offers?
“Most of those schools are a little to far away. I think I'd rather stay a little closer so my family and friends would have a chance to watch me play."
