Beljour back from Rutgers

The past few years Rutgers has placed a big emphasis on keeping the top talent in the state of New Jersey home. One of the Garden State's top prospects in this recruiting class visited the Scarlet Knights over the weekend. How did he like it?
"I got a chance to talk to most of the players and they seemed like fun guys to hang out with," said running back / linebacker Jean Beljour. "I talked to all of the coaches too, and I got along well with my position coach. All in all it was a good experience. My host was Cedric Brown and he's a good guy."

So does the Hackensack, N.J. star think he could fit in at Rutgers?
"Actually I think I could fit in anywhere," he said. "I think the way I play, with my work ethic, would be a good fit in any number of places -- Rutgers included. They're one of my five favorite schools, along with Syracuse, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State and UConn."
Beljour has taken an official visit to UConn, and had a good time on that trip as well.
"I've got an official visit to Syracuse scheduled for Jan. 16, and I'm supposed to set up an official to Wisconsin sometime this week. I don't expect to have a decision ready until the end of the whole recruiting deal."
