Behemoth reaching potential
When you stand 6-foot-5 and weigh 320 pounds that alone many times will create enough sizzle behind you to get some recruiting action and that is exactly what is happening for behemoth Daniel Patricio from Lake Balboa (Calif.) Birmingham.
“Daniel’s best football is ahead of him,” Birmingham head coach Ed Croson said. “Once his athleticism catches up to his body, Daniel is going to be very good.”

“Daniel is still developing,” Croson said. “But he is a prospect on his size alone.”
“It takes longer for kids like Daniel to develop,” Croson said. “I think Daniel’s personal habits will see him reach his potential.”
“Daniel has great work habits and is a good student, too,” Croson said. “We expect him to have a great season in the fall of 2004.”
