Bedell busy with visits

Mastic Beach (N.Y.) William Floyd athlete Stacey Bedell has been keeping busy recently and he doesn't plan on slowing down any time soon.
The 5-foot-8, 165-pound athlete told Rivals.com on Tuesday evening that he is being recruited by most schools as a running back.

Last fall at William Floyd he carried the ball 208 times for 1,658 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also showed a nice ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, hauling in 12 receptions for 177 yards and two scores.
Schools are starting to take notice and Bedell is getting his name out there.
"I've visited Rutgers, Syracuse and UConn," Bedell said.
"I have Buffalo, Boston College, Penn State and Maryland coming up."
Bedell said none of those schools have separated themselves from the pack yet, but he did say that Buffalo and Rutgers are recruiting him the hardest to this point.
