Beckwith sticking to his guns

You can try all you want other schools, but it doesn’t matter. Baton Rouge (La.) Parkview Baptist four-star outside linebacker Darry Beckwith is 100 percent Bayou Bengal.
“I’m LSU all the way,” said Beckwith, ranked as the nation’s No. 8 outside linebacker in the recent Rivals.com rankings.

“It’s my hometown, and even if it wasn’t it’d be the place in the world for me. The atmosphere and everything is the best.”
Also don’t discount that teammate Lyle Hitt, a three-star defensive tackle, is also heading to LSU. In the end, the decision is an easy one.
“Other schools call, but I’m not interested,” Beckwith said.
Beckwith said his team is 7-0 on the season and ranked No. 1 in Class 3A.
“I have 65 tackles and no interceptions, yet,” he said.
