Beckham ready to camp for offers

Coming off a Rivals Camp Series showing that earned him top performers recognition, Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) cornerback Kei Beckham is ready to camp for more offers this summer.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Beckham is nearing double-digit offer totals, but he has seen additional interest come through this spring from colleges that want to host him at their summer camps.

"I can name a few that have been through - Pitt, Louisville, Notre Dame," Beckham said. "Those are all schools that said they will be recruiting me hard and want me to camp this summer."
Another school that Beckham plans to attend camp at this summer is Ohio State, and he has been in communication with the Buckeyes this spring as well.
"Ohio State I have been in contact with a lot," Beckham said. "I have a really good relationship with the O-State coach. They said they already know what I can do, but they want me to come camp and compete."
Beckham grew up rooting for the in-state Buckeyes, as did a former Trotwood-Madison teammate - current Ohio State freshman Cameron Burrows - whom Beckham continues to keep in contact with.
"He loves it," Beckham said. "He grew up a Buckeye fan and says it is a great place, great coaches to play for."
Among the nearly double-digit schools that have offered, Beckham said he is highest on Indiana and Kentucky at this time.
"I plan on visiting them this summer to take another look at them. I was supposed to visit [Indiana] sometime in February, but due to the weather I wasn't able to make it. The last time I was at Kentucky was in February and I had a great time."
Other schools that have offered Beckham include Cincinnati, Illinois, Minnesota and Purdue.
