Becker has change, but not at top

In March Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller defensive lineman Frank Becker named five schools he was definitely interested in. The list has changed slightly with Boston College being replaced by Miami of Ohio. What hasn't changed is Becker's high degree of interest in Ohio State and Notre Dame.
"Let's see, it's pretty much the same," Becker said when asked what schools he is interested in. "I went to the NIKE Camp at Ohio State. I liked that. Ohio State is still up there.

"Their facilities are awesome. Their football is great. Ohio State is pretty high on my list."
Notre Dame under Charlie Weis is making a strong effort to recruit the state of Ohio, and Becker says he is also impressed with the Irish.
"June 3 I'm going to Notre Dame's camp," Becker said. "Their defensive coordinator was here with Mr. Weis, I think that was during the winter. Probably Notre Dame is pretty high (on the list)."
The rest of Becker's list is made up of a Big Ten school and two from the state of Ohio.
"I'm going to Purdue's camp in June," Becker said. "I couldn't make it to Miami of Ohio, but that's another school I'm interested in. And Cincinnati is still there.
"Those are basically the ones."
The 6-foot-3 and 265-pound Becker will be a three-year starter at defensive tackle for Moeller. Father Doug Becker was a three year starter for Notre Dame and played on the 1977 national championship team.
