Becker has Big Ten scholarship offer

Playing inside linebacker in a 4-4 defense alongside Ohio State Class of 2005 recruit Jim Laurinaitis, Plymouth (Minn.) Wayzata prospect Tommy Becker had 139 tackles and intercepted three passes during his junior season.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Becker, who is very strong in both the upper and lower body, was an all-conference and all-metro selection.

Becker is drawing his fair share of attention from recruiters. Has a school offered Becker a scholarship yet?
"Minnesota offered," Becker said. "I don't have a favorite. I'm pretty much open to all of them."
Becker has other schools from throughout the Midwest on his list.
"Right now I'm looking at Minnesota, Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Oklahoma, Michigan State, and Ohio State," Becker said. "Ohio State was just at my school a couple of days ago. Dick Tressel was here.
"Minnesota has been to my school, coach Mason came out. Michigan State, Iowa State, and Oklahoma have been through. I think Wisconsin came through."
Asked who he has received calls from this month, Becker said, "I talked to Eastern Michigan. I talked to Michigan State and Minnesota. Ohio State called. Iowa State and Idaho called."
