Beavers land standout QB

The Oregon State Beavers have landed another outstanding quarterback for their recruiting class according to a source in Brian Hildebrand (6-2, 190, 4.68) from Corona, Calif. Hildebrand first grabbed Rivals attention at the Nike Camp held at USC last April.
The Beavers get a quarterback who has incredible accuracy. The kind of accuracy that is reminiscent of Joe Montana. Accuracy isn’t the only thing to like about Hildebrand he can throw with touch and with zip on the ball.

Hildebrand has thrown for 4,498 yards and 31 touchdowns for his career at Corona, while throwing for 1,898 yards and 22 touchdowns against only seven interceptions as a junior.
In an earlier interview with Rivals.com Corona head coach John Brandom has this to say about his talented quarterback, “Brian has always been accurate even when he first showed up here as a freshman. Now he has the arm strength to go with his accuracy.”
“Brian is very football savvy,” Brandom said. “He’s a very knowledgeable football player and is way ahead of the learning curve. He will check into a running play depending on the coverage at the line of scrimmage or if a pass will he calls that play. He’s right 99% of the time.”
Hildebrand has offers from Oregon State, Colorado, Colorado State and San Diego State. He was getting recruiting attention from UCLA, ASU, Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama.
Solid get for the Beavers.
