Beavers land flyer

Oregon State continues their hot streak with the commitment of another versatile athlete who brings a lot to the table in running back/cornerback Keith Johnson (5-10, 170, 4.37) from Elk Grove (Calif.) Laguna Creek.
Johnson will join high school teammate linebacker Alan Darlin (6-2, 225, 4.7) who committed to the Beavers last weekend.

Last weekend has turned out to be quite a hall for Oregon State and pickings have continued to be good with Johnson.
Johnson brings tremendous speed to the Beaver program. He has that explosive speed that makes you hold your breath when he turns the corner he can the rock housebound whenever he touches the ball.
As a senior, Johnson rushed for 1,696 yards and scored 26 touchdowns. He also caught nine passes for 199 yards and two more touchdowns.
In spot duty as a defender, Johnson racked up 19 tackles and had one pick.
Though Johnson has the talent to play on either side of the ball, he will see his first action as a running back.
Oregon State wins the services of Johnson over offers from Washington State, San Jose State, and Idaho.
