Beavers land a good one

It has been awhile since we've talked with Stockton (Calif.) St. Mary's wide out Anthony Crosby. So long in fact, that the talented receiver actually committed over a month ago.
Crosby, 6-0, 190 pounds took official visits to Nebraska, Arizona State and Oregon State and committed to the Beavers about a month ago.

"He stopped doing interviews awhile back," Laurie Crosby, Anthony's mother said. "He just wanted to focus on his season, his school work and just having fun with his senior year. Now he's doing basketball so he's still really busy but he committed to Oregon State about a month ago. I'll let him tell you all about it but he's doing homework right now."
We'll check back in with Crosby later in the week to get his story and see why he chose the Beavers. This is definitely a nice pickup for Oregon State as Crosby is one of the elite players in the state. He earned 1st team all-state honors after catching 59 balls for 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns. He added 60 tackles and four interceptions on defense and was a candidate for state player of the year honors as well.
