Beaver looking to take trips

Brandon Beaver has already compiled a nice list of offers and over the next few months the Compton (Calif.) Dominguez cornerback plans to take some more visits with one being to Washington for its spring game.
"It's real exciting because I'll get to talk to coach (Steve Sarkisian) again and coach (Demetrice) Martin will be there so that will be a really good experience," Beaver said last weekend at the Badger Sports Elite 7-on-7 in Las Vegas.

Beaver, who has already taken unofficial visits to Arizona State, USC and UCLA, would also like to visit Arizona but nothing has been scheduled yet. Although no favorites have emerged yet there are four schools that Beaver likes at this point even though it's still early.
"I wouldn't say I have a favorite but I have a lot of schools I really like," Beaver said. "Washington is a school, UCLA is a school, Arizona is a school and Arizona State is a school, too."
So far, Beaver, who's included in the Rivals 250 to watch, has picked up offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Fresno State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, SMU, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington.
Cal is also showing lots of interest and Beaver said he's unclear whether the Golden Bears will offer or not. He said maybe talking to Cal's coaching staff will clear things up with his recruitment.
"Cal is showing me more interest," Beaver said. "The coach told me they're interested and they could offer but my coach said that no offer is official yet so I'm confused about that right now. Cal is definitely a new school on the list."
