Bearcats close to offering TE

One of the top sleeper prospects from Pennsylvania believes he's close to an offer from Cincinnati.
That's what Justin Kempka said on Saturday, and he may have good reason for believing that.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect from Greensburg (Pa.) Central Catholic has a connection to the Bearcats and has heard rumblings that sound good for him.
"One of our coaches, his brother is the line coach at Cincinnati," Kempka said. "He told me they should be pulling the trigger soon."
Kempka said Ohio is also close to offering him a scholarship. Over the summer he attended a 7-on-7 at Cincinnati and checked the school out then. He also camped at Ohio, so he's familiar with both schools.
Concord and Charleston have offered Kempka and next weekend he'll be visiting Robert Morris, another school that he expects to offer him. Kempka is also expecting an offer from Temple.
If things heat up as much as Kempka seems to be expecting them to who has the edge?
"I really like Cincinnati because of the campus and I like Ohio," he said. "Those are probably my two favorites."
So far Central Catholic is 8-0 on the season and Kempka has 379 receiving yards with seven touchdowns, making him one of the more productive tight ends in the area.
