BCS verbal offer in for VA lineman

Offers are picking up for a lineman in the Commonwealth. The 6-foot-4, 287-pounder claims two offers including a recent verbal from a BCS school.
"I've got offers from Richmond and Maryland," Roanoke (Va.) William Fleming offensive guard Sedale Young said. "Maryland offered a couple weeks back.

"It's just a verbal from Maryland. They said they are going to wait on my test scores before I get it on paper. I am taking the SAT soon, I haven't taken it yet."
What does Young think of the impending offer from the Terrapins?
"That's a big offer, it makes me feel good," he said. "It makes me want to work even harder.
"I went to Maryland earlier this summer for camp. They told me they liked the way I moved in drills and did really well in one-on-ones. I like the atmosphere at Maryland too, it's cool."
A number of other colleges are keeping tabs on the two-star lineman.
'I went to Virginia's camp and they liked me a lot too, they told me to keep in contact with them," he said. "Old Dominion is showing interest along with Penn State. They invited me up for a game and I plan to check back with Penn State on that. Louisville has also shown interest as has East Carolina, they said they'd get back with me."
Meanwhile, Young holds an offer in writing from Richmond.
"I like the Richmond coaches a lot," he said. "I like the atmosphere and they are showing a lot of interest in me."
Young claims no favorites at this time.
Currently the lineman is focused on fall camp in preparation for the season opener on September 3rd.
"Everything is going good," he said. "My feet are better and my conditioning is higher. I'm using what I learned this summer from all the college camps. I'm staying low and improving my blocking.
"I just want to do the best for my team and win. I do kind of want to make all-state this year too."
