BC, WVU tracking New Jersey RB

James Kenner is one of the better running backs you probably haven't heard much about from the state of New Jersey, and while he doesn't have any offers from FBS schools two big-name programs are keeping track of him with regularity.
Boston College and West Virginia are two schools that have the 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back from Haddonfield (N.J.) Paul VI in their sights.

Kenner does not have game breaking speed but he's a well-rounded back that could carry a big load in the college level if he finds a school that's a good fit for him.
So far Stony Brook and Monmouth, two smaller football programs, are the schools that have offered scholarships. He's hoping for more.
"The running back coach for Boston College says he's very interested in me for running back," Kenner explained. "He said that for a guy my size he's really impressed with how I move.
"West Virginia has also been sending me a lot of letters."
Letters don't always translate into offers, of course, nor do complimentary words. Because of that Kenner isn't banking on offers from BC and West Virginia, though he would obviously love for that to happen.
He will be planning a trip to Monmouth either later this summer or in the fall, and he hasn't set up any other trips as of yet.
