BC, UNC neck-and-neck for corner
Garland (Texas) South Garland two-star cornerback Matt Harding was ready to commit to UNC this past weekend, but he decided at the last minute before pledging to go ahead and take other visits. One of those places is Iowa State where he visited this weekend.
“It’s Iowa, there’s football and what else,” Harding, who is 5-foot-11 and 178 pounds, said.

“I really liked the football aspects of it, and I liked how the team was really bonding together and they felt like they could win quickly. But I wasn’t so sure about the actual town and whether or not I’d be a good fit there.”
So does UNC still have the lead or has Boston College moved up there, too?
“I think it’s going to come down to those two, and I’m really high on both teams,” he said. “It goes back and forth. One minute I’m high on UNC and then next on BC. I’d say it’s neck-and-neck.”
