Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny inside linebacker Chris Rogers continues to rack up the scholarship offers.
So who were the latest to offer the 6-foot-3, 240-pound Rivals100 candidate?
After already having offers from Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Penn State, Pitt and Purdue, it looks like a few others have stepped up to the plate.
“I’ve gotten a few new offers,” Rogers, who also doubles as a tight end, said.
“You can add Boston College and North Carolina to the list.”
Playing both ways at tight end and linebacker, Rogers had 19 receptions for 278 yards and four touchdowns, along with 46 solo tackles, 29 assists, 12 tackles for a loss, eight sacks and a 40.3 yard punting average as a junior.
This summer, Rogers said he has plans on camping at several schools – including Virginia, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Michigan.
“I hope to show them my stuff,” he said.
“I’ll show them that I’m rangy, quick and physical.”
