BC offers NJ athlete

Wide receiver/safety Zach Luckett has great size and figures to be a big recruiting target for many schools in the Class of 2006. Which schools are interested in the Garden State standout?
"I'm hearing from places like Maryland, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Iowa, Notre Dame, Indiana, Michigan, Marshall, Boston College, Nebraska and some others," said Luckett.

Just recently Luckett received his first scholarship offer.
"Boston College let me know about a week ago that I had a scholarship if I wanted it," he said. "That was my first offer, so I like Boston College a little more because of it. But my favorite is Michigan. I grew up a Wolverines fan and I like them a lot now."
What does he like about Michigan?
"I took a visit to the campus and was impressed with the academics at the school. Obviously they have a great winning program and a lot of tradition. If they were to offer I would think about committing early."
At 6-foot-4, 205-pounds Absecon (N.J.) Holy Spirit, Luckett has a great frame.
"I'd say my strengths on the field are my size, speed and hands. I've got some good quickness. I just plan on working on things like my cuts on the routes."
