Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood linebacker Rennie Curran picked up another offer over the weekend after getting home from the Rivals.com Junior Day at Lovejoy (Ga.) High.
After he got back in from the Rivals Junior Day at Lovejoy, he opened the mail and found an offer from the Boston College Eagles.
"It wasn't too big of a surprise," said Curran. "They have been sending me a lot of letters from the very beginning."
At Lovejoy, Curran measured out to be a little more than 5 feet, 10 inches and right at 203-pounds.
Boston College now joins Auburn, Georgia Tech, and Mississippi State on Curran's offer list.
"LSU and Georgia have really picked things up and are sending me a lot more mail. I get a lot of letters from teams in the south, but those two have really picked it up."
According to Curran, "This offer helps Boston College and I will put them into consideration", but his top three remain the same.
"Auburn, Georgia, and Georgia Tech are my top three," he said.
He already visited Auburn and Georgia Tech for Junior Day, but will be back on the plains next weekend.
"I am going back for the spring game this week and then I am going over to Georgia on the (March) 25th. Georgia invited me over that day, so I am looking forward to that."
Curran was a first team Class AAAAA Georgia All-State member last season after finishing his junior season with and astounding 198 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, and six sacks.
