BC gets Garden State commitment

The Boston College Eagles have pulled another top player out of the Garden State.
Highstown (N.J.) Peddie running back Taji Morris has committed to the Eagles over offers from Rutgers, Iowa, Minnesota, LeHigh and others.

"He just committed a few hours ago," said the 5-foot-11, 180-pounder's father. "It was a hard decision. He and his brother, Bilal wanted to play together and for a little while they thought about it at both LeHigh and Rutgers, but in the end Taji just liked BC too much. He and his brother both understood that they needed to do what's right for them."
Morris, who can play running back or cornerback, had the BC coaches in for a visit today after visiting Rutgers this past weekend.
"It's been somewhat hectic," he said. "The whole process has been draining. I think Bilal will head to LeHigh and the two will stay in touch. They both wanted to make the choice where they could play football and I think they've done that."
Bilal was offered by Rutgers, but only on a partial track scholarship.
