BC, Duke high on Florida LBs list

Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles linebacker Keith Lisante hopes to boost his stock this summer by making the camp rounds in various parts of the East.
“I just got back from Boston College camp, and I went to Duke camp about two weeks ago,” he said. “This Friday, I’m going to Maryland, and I’ll head to Northwestern after that.”

Lisante (6-2, 207, 4.7) is an outside linebacker who recorded more than 100 tackles and seven sacks as a junior in helping lead Bolles to a 14-1 record and a state championship. He’s received an offer from UConn and has been getting heavy interest from all the schools he’s visiting for camps. Georgia Tech, Clemson, Nebraska, LSU, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Louisville have also been showing interest.
“UConn, Duke, Northwestern and Boston College are my favorites now… in no particular order,” he said. “I’m looking for the best football situation for me and great academics. All of those have great academics, so I’m just trying to find where I fit in best for football and personally.
“I liked Boston a lot, the city and everything, when I was up there. That was a neat place. Football-wise, I think I may fit in best at Duke. I think I could fit into their defense early. I like the coaches a lot, too.
“I’m looking forward to my trip to Northwestern. I have a former teammate (Kyle Wagner) up there who signed with them last year. I would be nice to go somewhere and already have a friend on campus.”
Academically, Lisante carries a 3.0 GPA and has scored a 1,000 on his SAT.
