The Boston College football program has had a 1,000-yard rusher in each of the last five seasons. They just added a four-star running back that could help keep that streak alive.
"I committed to Boston College tonight," said 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back Andre Callender. "I just had an in-home visit with coach O'Brien and coach McGovern and I felt very comfortable with them."
Callender chose the Eagles over offers from more than 30 programs. In the end it came down to BC, Clemson and Wake Forest.

"I cancelled my visit this weekend to Michigan State," he said. "I'm very happy with my choice. BC has great academics, I really liked the players there and the running back situation is great for me. I think I can play either the first or second year for sure."
