Bayside has two sleepers to watch

Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside is home to two wide receiver prospects in 2007 in Deveon Braithwaite and Damien Butler. Both players are sleeper recruits that are worth keeping an eye on.
The 5-foot-7, 149-pounder Braithwaite is an undersized receiver, but a talented player.

"Deveon has excellent hands, is very quick and mentally tough," Bayside head coach Darnell Moore said. "Overall he may have the best true hands of anyone on our team. Over the past year he has really filled out gaining 30-pounds.
"Right now he hasn't received much in the way of mail. I would believe that he is more of a Division I-AA prospect though."
Braithwaite hauled in seven receptions for 170 yards last season.
The 6-foot-0, 172-pound Damien Butler is a recently converted basketball player for Bayside.
"He didn't play as a junior as I just got him to come over from basketball, but from what I see in practice he has great hands and an excellent vertical," he said. "He has the arms of a guy that is 6-foot-2 and also has tremendous speed.
"I really believe he's going to pop out at the combines this spring because of his size and body. He is a real good player that can flat out catch the ball and is a smart player too."
