Bayou WR sets up first official visit

Zachary (La.) Northeast wide receiver Aaron Brown is certainly an intriguing prospect. He has excellent size and speed and a list of big time offers, which has sent his stock climbing even higher.
“I still pretty much have the same offers as I did, Auburn, South Carolina, Ohio State, Michigan and Louisville and some other smaller schools,” Brown said. “I am getting interest from quite a few other schools right now like LSU, but they just have not offered yet.”

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Brown runs the 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds, has a 270-pound bench press and 325-pound squat.
“The only game I have been to so far this year is LSU-Mississippi State,” Brown said. “I am going to try to get to a Southern Miss game, a South Carolina game and a couple of more LSU games for sure. I have an official visit set up for South Carolina on January 14.”
As a junior he caught 37 passes for seven touchdowns. So far this year he has 17 catches for 225 yards and four touchdowns.
“I am going to wait and take my visits before I commit,” Brown said. “Some of the things I will be looking for is the environment, the style of offense and early playing time. Distance from home is not really going to be a factor for me.”
Brown is ranked as the No. 57 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 14 player in the state of Louisiana by Rivals.com.
