Bayou RB closing in on decision

New Orleans (La.) McDonogh running back Phillip Graves took his first official visit this past weekend and will take his second this upcoming weekend. After this weekend's visit Grave's could reach his decision.

"This past weekend I took an official visit to Delta State," Graves said. "It went pretty well and all, I hit it off with the coaches and some of the players. I am still considering all of my options, but I did like what I saw."

The 5-foot-10, 197-pound Graves runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds, has a 300-pound bench press and 31-inch vertical jump.

"Right now Delta State and Central Florida are probably my top two at this point," Graves said. "I am taking an official visit to Central Florida this weekend, Texas Southern on the 24 of this month right when I get back and one to Fairmont on January 28. I should be able to make my decision by the end of next week."
