Bayou QB still waiting on offers

Lafayette (La.) Saint Thomas Moore quarterback John Hundley is a prospect that really made a name for himself at the NIKE camp in Baton Rouge turning in one of the most impressive performances in attendance. He has followed through with a solid senior season thus far and is a prospect to keep an eye on.
“I still do not have any offers right now,” Hundley said. “I have been getting calls from Louisiana-Lafayette, Ole Miss and Florida pretty regularly and there are some other schools like Texas A&M, TCU and South Carolina that have been mailing me a lot.”

The 6-foot-2.5, 208-pound Hundley ran the 40-yard dash in 4.81 seconds, the shuttle in 4.56 seconds, posted a 26-inch vertical jump and did eight reps on the bench press at the NIKE camp.
“The only game I have been to so far is a Louisiana-Lafayette game,” Hundley said. “I am probably going to go to an Ole Miss game at the end of the month. I have been talking to the coaches there and they want me to take an unofficial visit to one of the games.”
So far this season, through five games Hundley has completed 51 of 80 passes for just over 600 yards and seven touchdowns.
“I would say that my list of favorites are pretty much still the same as they have been,” Hundley said. “Ole Miss has been recruiting me really hard. They are supposed to come by after the season and we are supposed to have a meeting.”
